ViaVerdi personalization is born this way: a brass type, leather, the right pressure, heat. A simple and ancient gesture that has no digital shortcuts. You can choose up to 8 characters—your initials, a date, a meaningful word—and we will stamp them one by one onto your bag. It's a small detail, but it changes everything: an object becomes your object.
THE TECHNIQUE
Hot stamping is a craft heritage we know well. The type is heated to the right temperature and pressed onto the leather for a few seconds: the fiber reacts, imprints, and the mark becomes part of the bag. It is not a print that comes off—it is a permanent trace.
THE GESTURE
Every letter is positioned by hand, one at a time. There's no automation: there's a craftsman aligning, measuring, assessing pressure, and deciding. That's why personalization takes a few extra days, and also why no two pieces are ever identical.
THE RESULT
A clean, deep character that lives with the skin and ages with it. Over time, it softens, develops a patina, and becomes even more yours. This is the difference between a bag and a bag that is truly YOURS.

Customization is a handcrafted process and, once started, there's no turning back. It's only a few lines, but we kindly ask you to read them carefully.
Carefully check the text
Once your order is confirmed, the bag immediately goes into production and the characters entered cannot be modified. Check capitalization, spaces, and punctuation before proceeding to payment.
Times are longer than usual
4-5 business days instead of the usual 1-2. This is the time needed to handcraft each bag in our Florentine workshop.
Personalized products are not returnable or refundable
Since this is made to your specific request, it is not eligible for return. We will only make an exception in case of a personalization error on our part—for example, different characters than those ordered.
